Who are we and what do we make?

Tudor Foods Ltd is a Christchurch based company that makes a range of traditional, natural handmade Pavlova’s, and meringues for you.  As well as the generally accepted styles, shapes and sizes that you may identify with for pavlova and meringue desserts, there are Tudor nest type styles as well.  We  now make a number of new style biscuit type meringues and mini bites that you and your family and friends   can enjoy  straight from the pack, with your hot drink , or  the kids will love them with their cold drink!

Your special family or business event and larger catering requirements can also be supplied.  We can advise on what will work best for your special event.

Tudor products have been made in Christchurch since the early 1970’s. The company was established by the Steel family who were involved in the bakery business in Gore. The family  moved  to Christchurch and set up Tudor pavlovas.

From a small base in Riccarton the business grew. The Pavlovas and meringues were made and packed by hand then delivered around town to cafes etc in a little yellow VW.  

From those early beginnings the Tudor range of products has been extended to include packs for the food service and catering trade. Tudor products are now available in selected retail supermarkets and stores
